Harlem River Lift Bridge

Anyone know of good materials documenting the construction of the Harlem River lift bridges and the transition from the old 4-track swing bridge? I have seen just a couple of photos showing the area before, during, and obviously after. I believe the whole project ran from around 1954-56...

Project was earlier than that. I believe it was underway more like in '52/'53. The "New" or present bridge is located just slightly to the north of the old swing bridge location.
