Its a fairly simple question, did Pennsy ever have any geared steam engines?
I could have sworn I had seen reference to a Shay somewhere in the Pennsy's history, but I can't find it now that I want it. I know C&O used several shays and NYC had a couple shay-trams for street/dock use, but I can't find anything about Pennsy. Considering some of the severely steep graded shortlines PRR bought up, you'd have thought they would have been open to Baldwin's shay-like model.
