During the early 1960's, the Association of American Railroads ran a magazine ad entitled "Red Russia's Railroads Get the Green Light." Pictured was a Soviet electric locomotive with a corpulent female train driver, her head sticking out of the cab window.

This ad appeared when the interstate highway system was being constructed and railroads were losing freight traffic at an accelerating pace.

Does anyone recall this famous ad and can anyone post a copy?
