How much track from the Bourne bridge to Falmouth is still active as of 2018? Was the ROW originally double tracked?

I saw this picture on NErail and was curious.

Always single track.

The active Falmouth Secondary line starts at Canal Junction by the Canal RR Bridge and ends at North Falmouth ( approx. 6.8 miles ) then turns to the left to become the Otis Industrial spur connecting to the Upper Cape Regional Transfer Station and to also service Joint Base Cape Cod. From historical photo's I have seen the ROW was only double tracked in front of some Railroad stops only such as North Falmouth, so other trains could pass. But if you look at the width of the underpasses along the ROW it gives you the impression that they had plans for such if needed. For related news on this line read Cape Cod Branch Connector or Mass Coastal Railroad (MC) discussion news.
