Delta Place, Lewisburg PA

Anyone know what the excavation work is about? I didn't see anything related to the recent work going on there. FYI, I took these pics on sunday afternoon, 2/21/10. Yes, this is across from the Sheetz on Rte. 15.

I'm not from the area but from what I can see in the 2nd picture it looks like there are portable conveyors behind the GATX covered hoppers and behind the orange excavator there appears to be a truck scale. Maybe a bulk unloading terminal in the works?

They are going to be transloading frac sand there for gas drilling up north.

Yeah, I just got into the business of frac sand and can confirm that is, indeed, a new transload.
