Spotted CSX 4836 as a trailing unit on a mixed River Line Freight on Friday, 3:17 PM, North Bergen, NJ.

Saw a pair of SD70ACEs headed east on the West Shore last Fri (4/22) in the AM with an 87 car train.

ACe's are the latest and greatest. Saw one myself in CSAO territory a few months ago.

The SD70ACe's are okay. Nothing special. They are not insulated very well from the noise of the horn in the cab. I prefer the 600 series AC motors that CSX has.

They're not the greatest. Too many dam computers which lock the engineer out of things such as sand. (can only drop sand when in dynamic brake or below a certain speed.)

They are also not the greatest on van trains because they are built for pulling, not speed. as for pulling, they are great on the B&A climbing the Berkshires. 2MPH over the hill is better than stalling, lol. :P
