A CN unit is on the ground at CP90 in Kingston. There's pictures posted on dailyfreeman.com. From the photos, it appears to be just the one loco derailed and the other engines and cars of the consist not affected.

And a big repair also?K041-24 did overshoot a signal, heard the Q156 answer the next signal north, then engineer panicked and went backwards. Lucky the 156 stopped in time! Accident was cleared up in about 4 hours. However the CP90 switch it now broken. Lucky that's all the damage that was done
Edit: I saw the newspaper article doesn't look too bad but said it would be a 12 hour repair job.

(towns like Harrington Park, Norwood, Haworth, etc. etc.) I'm assuming that work was all done. Am I right? The reason I ask is, in my work travels I noticed a section of panel track in Haworth and some fresh tie bundles + fresh gravel in Harrington Park. Not to speculate but... Any chance this could be for some double tracking work? Because all the ties they laid out last year were installed and these ties and gravel are fresh not left over from last years work. That work was all done, yes. As of right now there are no plans to double track the area from CP10 to CP22 due to a lot of crossings. Currently they are making a controlled siding from CP35 to CP38 (at the moment Auto 38). Perhaps this is to fix a section from last year? they did not replace all ties, only about every 1/5 of them
