CSX gets ex-Conrail GEs from NS

In the new issue of Trains magazine it says that CSX has picked
up 18 B40-8 locos from NS and they will be renumbered to CSX
5962-5979.

They picked them up back in October here are the NS to CSX number conversions and paint jobs on them:
NS 4800 (former Conrail 5063) = CSXT 5962 -- painted in ==NS black
NS 4801 (former Conrail 5064) = CSXT 5963 -- painted in Conrail blue
NS 4802 (former Conrail 5066) = CSXT 5964 -- painted in Conrail blue
NS 4803 (former Conrail 5067) = CSXT 5965 -- painted in Conrail blue
NS 4804 (former Conrail 5068) = CSXT 5966 -- painted in ==NS black
NS 4805 (former Conrail 5069) = CSXT 5967 -- painted in NS horsehead black
NS 4806 (former Conrail 5072) = CSXT 5968 -- painted in ==NS black
NS 4807 (former Conrail 5073) = CSXT 5969 -- painted in Conrail blue
NS 4808 (former Conrail 5077) = CSXT 5970 -- painted in Conrail Quality blue
NS 4809 (former Conrail 5078) = CSXT 5971 -- painted in Conrail blue
NS 4810 (former Conrail 5079) = CSXT 5972 -- painted in Conrail blue
NS 4811 (former Conrail 5081) = CSXT 5973 -- painted in Conrail blue
NS 4812 (former Conrail 5082) = CSXT 5974 -- painted in ==NS black
NS 4813 (former Conrail 5083) = CSXT 5975 -- painted in Conrail blue
NS 4814 (former Conrail 5084) = CSXT 5976 -- painted in ==NS black
NS 4815 (former Conrail 5085) = CSXT 5977 -- painted in Conrail blue
NS 4816 (former Conrail 5088) = CSXT 5978 -- painted in Conrail blue
NS 4817 (former Conrail 5089) = CSXT 5979 -- painted in ==NS black

They were gathered at Enola and the NS logos were painted out then they were shipped to Cumberland were they received their new numbers.

Just found out it was already mentioned in an NS forum awhile back.
I'll have to be a little more thorough with my searches next time.

No problem, I think everyone has missed something already posted, I know I have done it many a time. It's actually probably a good thing as it helps out others who may have otherwise missed information.
