Please forgive me if this has been asked before. I have seen photos of the standard
C&O wood caboose in two different lettering schemes - one with name spelled out and
nothing else, and, the other with an oval with C&O in it. Both photos showed these cabooses
to be red in color. My question is this: can anyone give me the dates of usage for both of
these lettering schemes? Thanks in advance.
