Rumors have been flying all week that the the Battenkill has had a serious derailment involving BOTH RS3's going over an embankment. Also, that a Pan Am GP40 has shown up on the property to fill in. Does anybody out there have any facts about this situation? I hate speculation and rumor.

There was a derailment, but units are upright.

Previous post, which disappeared, said it was just one truck of one unit. Which was it?

Nothing that precarious, but the where the derailment occurred in the village of Greenwich, it is difficult to get cranes to. The train derailed while on a flanger run. Last report had crews working to get the units rerailed.
