According to TRAINS magazine's web site the Ohio Central RR just bought ex-NKP Berkshire #763 from a Virginia museum. They plan to restore it to operational status.

That's great news! Unlike the comments of some other folks on other sites, I am certainly pleased hearing of this.
When it comes to seeing folks saving steam, I'll take whatever I can and not complain about any of it.

This Berk was removed from it's Roanoke museum on Tuesday 7/24. After an inspection of its wheels (and replacement, if necessary) NS will be towing it to the OC at Coshocton.
