Does anyone know if they will be running excursions over Horseshoe Curve again this year? Their website doesn't mention it, but does mention excursions over the Nittany & Bald Eagle RR.

No excursions around Horse Shoe Curve this year.

NS is too busy to accommodate such excursions.

I've heard that Amtrak is reason for the lack of Curve excursions. I'm looking forward to the port matilda trips. It will be a preview of the excursion route for 1361!?!?!;-)

Thanks for the replies.

Was this a last-minute thing? I received their newsletter last month, and trips around the Curve and one on Sunday to Johnstown were being advertised.

I also received the newsletter from the Railroaders Museum which did advertise the usual excursions. The Nittany & Bald Eagle trips are in lieu of the curve excursions.
