1944 US Supreme Court decision regards Yonkers Branch

Here's an interesting case regarding the controversial abandonment of the electrified Yonkers Branch of the NYC Putnam Division. Not easy reading, but it gives some insight into the battle to alternately save and dismantle the Yonkers Branch.
