Metro Noth has several snow jets. mainly used to clean out interlockiungs and yards yes they work well.
If Conductors are in charge, why are they promoted to be Engineer???

A couple of years ago MNCR played video of an operating snow jet at the Harmon Shops open house. It appeared to work quite well.

The MBTA has two of these snow jets too and I've seen one in operation for CSX in Boston.
