Ten or so years back, NS talked about connecting the ex-RDG main at Lemoyne PA to the ex-PRR Port Road (?) to permit manifest trains to/from the south (eg Hagerstown) to access Enola yard without having to travel through Harrisburg terminal area. The project encountered a couple of obstacles wrt the proposed RoW such as archeological digging and Corridor One commuter rail planning. I thought I had read that NS put the LC project on hold 5 or so years ago due to the economic downturn. Does anyone know if it's still on hold or is it dead? Google searching hasn't revealed any status updates. TIA.
