I received an email telling me to complete an "Amtrak Assessment", the link was created for me only. It gave me the culture test, what seemed to be a speed and accuracy test, and a math test. I found out which job it's for. Is this a new process of elimination tactic? Or they want to bring me in kind of thing? It's for a dispatching job, so if anyone know when they may have a class for it that would most likely narrow down when they'd offer potential interviews.

Amtrak has recently shifted from in-person testing to an online platform. So the assessment that was sent to you is the first step in the hiring process. Assuming you passed the culture fit assessment (CFA) and the knowledge tests, then you should be selected for an interview. Good luck!
