Question about being a telephone maintainer

I have been offered a job as a telephone maintainer by NS and I'm wondering what should I expect

my first guess would be, to expect to maintain telephones.

I might be wrong, but on the Union Pacific those guys take care of the computers, the phones, the switch shack speakers, yardmaster's - hand helds - and auto radios (might send the locomotive radios from the pit off to be fixed, never saw any in the office here), printers, the RCL repeaters, radio towers....

From the looks of it, pretty good job to have. Hope that helps.
