Today 11-25-06 My buddy Dave Jodoin and I were out railfanning in Palmer and Springfield,Ma.today when we heard Guilford /PanAm train
PLED calling the CSX "NB Dispatcher"for a signal across the CSX Boston
Line at CP-99. He(PLED)refered to his train as "BOSTON & MAINE TRAIN
PLED"We caught him in Holyoke,Ma by Canal street PLED was running Long hood forward with the Maine Central GP-40 # 353 pulling 7 cars to East Deerfield Yard.Most times only 350 /351 / 352 /353 (MEC) lead due to they are the only Guilford units with Cab Signals for the Amtrak owned Lower Conn river main line south of the CSX diamond at CP-99.
