Are people in Portchester purchasing Internet discount tickets Greenwich to GCT? It's cheaper!

Also, why do we in Ct have to lose the single ride internet discount?

Has the dry powdery snow always caused problems with the electronics in the M2? This can't be a new problem. We had snow in the 70's? Wouldn't someone figure a way to protect the wiring and such? It's been 38 years since the M2's arrived. Also, the M2's that went through critical system replacement,...

Need to spend $'s wisely. How can restoring the north end of Meriden to Newington Jct 2nd track cost $40m? How much did it cost to rip it up in 1992? Did they do an EIS when they ripped it up? They should restore the 2nd track asap, just as fast as they had removed it. Build new stations in North Ha...

Does anyone know why on May 20, the New Haven line train to the stadium got just past Rye on the express track, stopped and they announce trackwork ahead. They reversed at a relatively slow speed, almost back to CT line (east of Port Chester). Than they proceeded on the same track. Around 5:30pm. th...

It's too bad as some people will lose their jobs but as NYC Subway is eliminating those assistants, or what ever they call them, because they found out they never helped anyone. Metro North should add ticket machines to all branch stations as well as the New Haven bound side of the New Haven line st...

Any news regarding the Springfield line? Last I heard, Ct is still discussing authorizing $20 (or $26) million in bonding and applying for approx $80m to restore ten miles of second track between Newington Junction and north end of Meriden. Also included are environmental studies and engineering wor...

CV went to New London. May have been New Haven and Northhampton on the Canal line but not really sure. Union Station may have dated back to New York and New England (air line), New York and New Haven versus New Haven & Hartford prior to 1870's. Also, not sure about the name of the railroad that ...

Insane how they split it.

As was said, it still costs $ to staff the crew, fuel. Who is paying for that. Create a special split rate for this one train.

Have it set so no boarding allowed in Stamford but people up the line can stay on.

Re: Whither Waterbury?

You must not have been on the road to Ohare in Chicago where the blue line runs in the median. Also I210 in Pasedena where the gold line is in the median. I am not saying Airtrain over the Van Wyck. CDOT messes everything up by advocating what ends up being a more expensive BRT. As mentioned, land a...

Need to get New Haven-Springfield up and running asap - use the equipment from SLE as M8's are introduced. No need to run Waterbury to Hartford rail yet, plus the route is very indirect. Or - I guess its too late - to do this Build rail in the center of I 84 from Waterbury to Plainville. Should have...
