Re: Business Train Discussion (ST 100, 101 & 102; PAR 1 & 2)

I'm sure this has been answered somewhere in the 60 + pages but I searched on google and couldn't find it. What is the heritage of ST 101? From that video it it looks very similar to C&O/PM club cars of the 50s. In particular very similar to the refurbished ones running on the Potomac Eagle.

Each picture shows they replace at least the minimum amount of required ties (with new ones). These all seem bad mainly cause the minimal use of bal...

I only asked if you were on the head end cause that is one of the most traumatic experiences or possibilities of the job. Thank God I have never killed anyone but I know plenty of good engineers and conductors who have. It lives with you forever. I have hit cars and had plenty of near misses as a fr...

It all depends on the specific signal location and track and what needs to be indicated. To exit our yard we have 3 signals stacked and the top two are always red so the bottom can switch between green, yellow and lunar and of course red since the max signal you can get is a slow clear. This is just...

I was wondering if I should make a trip out to Lordstown and Macdonald Ohio to see what can be seen of LTEX. I was wondering if it was worth it. How much of these two locations can be seen from public roads? Is the Ohio Commerce Center open to the public or no?
