The fenced in area is near Sebago Lake. It is the area where Portland Water District draws water from, so have fenced everything off to protect the resource. They do not own the rail corridor, so must have gotten permission from the State to block it.

Unfortunately, not a lot of scenery along there. A nostalgic ride for sure, and some things to look at (gets close to the Saco River West of Sebago). Maybe a Windham to Baldwin/Hiram run, but not sure how much patronage you would get.

I've been missing the Fritz reports..


Reports on FB state they have still been the same schedule, though one video I saw only showed like 10 cars, going through Gorham or Berlin. Fuel shipments should start increasing here shortly as the demand rises, and people start preparing for winter..

And if you want to get narrow minded, there is a Turntable pit and Engine house foundation at the former two foot gauge Bridgton & Saco River RR at what was Bridgton Junction. It has been over 20 years since I was there, but if I remember correctly, this is the approximate location of the Sebago, Maine pit, but I never looked for remnants of the round house.
