Also he used the First portion going West , so he can't use the remainder on an eastbound train, it's a one way ticket. ONE WAY. so if you go WEST that is one way. You can't go west and then east, that would be TWO ways.
As far as the color boxes go, it's determined by the time when the ticket was activated. So tickets activated all within the same time period will all have the same color boxes. So the conductor should be seeing all the same color patterns on all the E tickets on the same train. The new scanners are...
An inward facing camera would have given a lot of insight into what happened during the crash of Amtrack 188. That knowledge could be used to help prevent similar accidents in the future
It's called "gating". It's the same procedure at mets willets point. It's done for east bound and west bound trains. When you get off the train there are ticket collectors at the stairs to collect your ticket .

He's another troll living in his moms basement who has nothing better to do than research OTP numbers and MTA committee meeting notes rather than go outside or on a date.
If the engineer got into a car accident and was almost killed on the way to work, why does the public need to know this???
Equipment problem is just fine thank you.
It is an equipment problem because there is no one to operate the equipment and that is a problem.
