Hi,

I've been researching since a while information regarding CP Rail container flat cars in the 520055-520317 serie.

These cars have been in service between 1973 and somewhere before 1985, and I have reasons to believe that they were rebuilt from 1929 40' flat cars in the 336260-336560 serie.

According to drawings I found on CP Sig website, I think they could easily by kitbashed from Tichy Train Group 40' flat car kit.

However, I've been unable to find any pictures of such cars. Therefore, I would like to know if they were painted in Action Red with with CP Rail lettering or if they retained their pre 1968 (black with white Canadian Pacific lettering) paint scheme during their rebuilt?

I anybody know where I could find a picture of such car, please let me know.

Thanks,

Tuxx

If you're a CP head, try one of these;

CANADIAN ASSOCIATION OF RAILWAY MODELLERS (CARM);
http://www.caorm.org/

If that doesn't yield an answer, these guys are CN, but they can steer you in the right direction if they can't answer you;
