I'm assuming that there had to be a turntable in Dover.....anyone have an idea when it was removed? Were the E-8's or PA's (after the merger) ever used on Boonton line commuter trains and turned at Dover??

There was....located between today's NJT crew quarters building and the back storage lot of that large commercial building. Exact date it was buried/demolished unknown to me but using Historic Aerials reveals it sat unused for about 10 years starting in the late 1950's.

They were indeed. My guess is they were 'turned' on the Denville wye.
