Short Line Pay

Hey guys,

I have a friend who's looking at joining a short line from a class one. Any idea on what kind of pay he would be making? FYI, he already has all the other benefits weighted out, so this is really the only thing left - he already knows it's going to be a decent cut in pay over working for a class one. Thanks!

I recently talked to somebody from a class 2 railroad, higher pay than a shortline AFAIK and it was just over HALF of what my guarantee is

I worked for a shortline and the pay was literaly peanuts compared to Class 1 $$$.

Shortline in my area, Wheeling Lake Erie pays 13hr Conductor/Brake and 15hr Engineer.
