they must have something planned.....the brush cutter is out in ronkonkoma team track now,clearing right of way for tie replacement work on mainline east-end

Any idea what the future holds for these old coaches? With the Loco 35 stuff in front of them now, are they doomed to rot at Lilco like the boogies?

Amazing they kept all the bogies this long..they havent been used in 17 years..and there only 20 years old..

Two of those coaches are probably the Coaches belonging to the friends of 35. They were moved last weekend from the garden mitchell secondary to make room for the circus train. They indeed were moved on the hempstead branch, and the mainline, on 2/25/07...check out photos of the move at this site..

It was a fun time chasing it. Best part was meeting some of the buffs. I hope the move back to Mitchel Field is reported ahead of time so we can chase it again.

I doubt this equipment will be going back there. The LIPA spur or Oyster Bay, ultimately.....
