Histories of the parts of The New York Central Railroad System were included in the1913 Annual Report. In a recent search, I came up with four that are currently posted on the internet:
History of The Cleveland Cincinnati Chicago and St Louis Railway and its predecessors
http://madisonrails.railfan.net/bigfour.html
History of The Lake Shore and Michigan Southern and its predecessors
http://www.s363.com/dkny/lsms.html
Pittsburgh and Lake Erie
http://www.trainweb.org/pt/ple.html
West Shore Railroad Company
http://nyc.railfan.net/ws1913.txt
Some could be found on the ‘old’ railroad.net website, but do not appear on the current website. I printed a copy of the Michigan Central History from the old site and have since scanned & converted it to a .doc file. I would be happy to share it with anyone who is interested in the MC and/or could post it on a website.
It seems likely that other histories from the 1913 Annual Report may have been posted. I found some old links to an IHB History on the old railroad.net website. Does anyone know of any additional ones currently on the internet? Or did anyone save any that are not currently posted?
