Reefer Cars on Falls River Section

I am modeling a section of the Falls River Section in the 1950's. This area is a fruit growing area and the towns are full of cold storage buildings. It was establsihed on the other site that any cars would probably be iced in Wayneport or Buffalo depending on direction. However, I forgot to ask what cars were used, NYC owned, leased, privately owned, etc. Any information is appreciated.
