Hi--Can anyone tell me what railroad goes through the town of Price? I believe it is in Maryland. I follow this line along Rt 301 and then cross it further down the road. Where does it go and what is the history of it?--Thanks

Thats an old Pennsy branch. The latest info I have is 20 years old but it was operated by the Maryland & Delaware Railroad, service as needed, Townsend, Delaware to Centerville, MD.

For current up-to-date infor go to the MDDE website (www.mdde.com). You'd be lucky to see a train along 301 since, like many shortlines, service is provided as needed.
