Small forest fire near the Southern in Lakehurst as of half an hour ago. Looked like a controlled burn but not sure. RT 70 west closed between the circle east of Lakehurst and South Hope Chapel Road intersection.

Saw a picture of a NJ State Forest Fire Brush truck protecting the tressle just RR east of route 70

News12 just now (12:42 pm) reported the fire was out.

If you listened to FF dispatch they told B33 to go to tressle. Air drop allowed to mop up hot spots.
