Right. It was sometime in 1984 when NJ Transit recalled all the Arrow II's from lease, since the Morris and Essex re-electrification project was done, and all the Arrow II's along with the up-to-that-point surplus Arrow III's were needed to handle service on those lines. The Arrow II's got a light overhaul in 1983-84. And by then, only 68 of the fleet of 70 cars were in existence, as one pair was destroyed in a rear-ender by an Amtrak train near the Beltway-Lanham station (replaced by the current New Carrollton facility).
