Doubtful. This seems more of a cheap and easy expansion of the MK, with the ride being almost an exact clone of the established coaster in Shanghai (granted one that's taken them 5 years to clone).

I saw an anecdote somewhere recently about how the mile of railroad track around the MK has taken almost as long to re-lay as it took for the Transcontinental Railroad to be completed.

I meant to post this a week ago but got side-tracked (pun not intended) with all of the holiday-happenings going on. The Disney Railroad is officially open as of Christmas '22. While we missed it by a couple of weeks, I did see Lilly out and about while we were there and got a friendly wave from the engineer.

Ride videos are up on YouTube, I'll link one below. They changed the ride narration, and while I like the bit through TRON, the Peter Pan part is a little, "meh".

If any of you are down there, make sure you take a ride (or two) for me. While we had fun, it certainly wasn't the same value and fun as our trip pre-COVID. Our next vacation is probably going to be abroad, I'm thinking Canada or the UK. I feel like the value for money would be more worth it.

Some photos and videos I took last week from Fantasyland Station while waiting for my better half to ride Space Mountain (I don't do roller coasters, lol). Walt's crew was extremely friendly and put on a good show departing Fantasyland, but sadly I lost that video.
