If already posted please redirect me....thanks

Are these cars limited to being hauled by only certain NJT locos ? Presume that a cab car or two are part of the lease ?
No Haven't seen them.. Who knows when they will arrive except that the stupid articles from recent press releases that say "very soon" !

There are a number of MARC cars sitting at 30th Street now.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Too bad SEPTA scrapped the Comet I coaches, they could have come home to NJT. And SEPTA has a Comarrow cab (the last operable Comarrow cab unit as well).

Nice shot.
I think they are only getting 10 now cause there aren't any more available with Amtrak and LIRR are borrowing many as well... When they are available they may get 10 more, but who knows if or when that will be.

Also, there are no Cab cars in the mix so the train will have to have a motor on each end... sStill have no idea what line or lines they will be used on.

4619 looks really nice pulling those cars (which could use a scrub to look as clean as 4619). However, as long as the help ease crowding, appearance is minor.

They don't have long doors so they will most likely be used on the NEC where the platforms are all high level except Jersey Avenue. Otherwise it's very inconvenient and labor intensive to have to wait for the train to stop before opening the traps.

Having no cab cars makes sense because that way you don't have to worry about them being compatible with NJT locomotives, and you don't have to train NJT crews to operate them. I'm not sure what the conductors need to do to operate different types of equipment, but it's gotta be far simpler than what an engineer needs to go through.

From what I am hearing from other groups, the ten cars are 7700-7708 and 7714.

And to be used on the RVL exclusively, probably on train 5445 or 5733.. MMC captive trains.

So no truth to one rumor that 2 5-car sets would replace/free up existing equipment on the LB-Bay Head shuttle trains this Summer ?
