Folks: I have been posting this specific update since July 2009 (wow..time flies!) There have been many months with several hundreds of views (not that it is indicative of quality, by any means), but you folks review the thread. A couple of questions/requests on my part:

1. Is it of value to you and why look?
2. I have a few folks that comment back to me (and actually QC the links..thanks to them!) I'd really like to get a feel as to the value of this work.
3. Can you reply with a :-) or :( perhaps.

I'll discontinue this thread monthly if that's the consensus: Please advise. Thank you for reading and any input. Steven Lynch - NYandW

I feel like it would be better if you just put them in one thread instead of creating a new one each month. Another idea would be to create a page on your website instead showing new pages.

I thought about that... the current format lets folks just see the latest updates as they have reviewed the previous months. The showing of NEW PAGES are to indicate totally brand new webpage material, only.

The webpage link is titled from: What's New: at http://trainsarefun.com/lirr/lirrcontents.htm has the extended material listing.

The purpose of my comment questions, above, the post this time after 6 years is NOT to debate the format, font, color, but rather:

1. Is it of any value to you and why look?
2. :-) or :(

Hi Steve,
YES!!!
Your website always proves valuable, even to those hwo
who may "know it all".
Thankfully, I am not one of them, however I always find info and photos that make my little slice of the LIRR world
work much better AND helps my HO scale models come out much better.

Please continue the great job.

Of course, keep it up! We all ought to be grateful that someone (you) has taken the initiative and devoted the time to collecting the multiplicity of fragments of LI information available from so many sources, organized it all, and made it available to all of us just for the clicking. Thank you, and keep up the good work. :-D :-D :-D
