Pictures of Florida East Coast #148!!!
Ex-Florida East Coast Pacific (4-6-2) 148 was on Union Pacific’s North Platte, NE, to North Yard, Denver, CO, train M NPNY 10, at Henderson, CO, on March 11, 2005. Thanks to CW. Edinger for finding this rare move on UP’s Greeley Subdivision.
Got a good picture of the ex-Florida East Coast 148 leaving Traverse City. Here's another view of FEC 148 headed for Creede, CO, taken last week, mid-February 2005 -TC Brent
This locomotive was sold to the D&RGW Society from D.F. Barnheart & Accociates. It is an oil burner and was used on the Florida Keys, as well as on main land Florida.
