Hi Robert,

As some of you, who visit Railroad.net, might know, I am working with a friend and fellow O&WRHS member Joe Cooney on a virtual representation of the railroad lines in and Orange County, NY set in the late 1920s, just prior to the Great Depression. I am wondering if anyone has images that show the Erie Newburgh branch going under Woodbury Viaduct. I am in need of images of the track arrangement for my modeling project.

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
Walter Conklin

Go to the same Syracuse University site where you found the Campbell Hall station photo. Look up Woodbury; two photos of the station there, under the viaduct and above the road.

And, try Bing Maps at the viaduct, at the east end of the Rt. 32 overpass; the birds eye angled view shows the remnants of the Shortcut grade.
