Anyone know if this will ever happen? Seems they spent some money to get the old parco gas switch reconfigured. Also they have lots of ties and rail onsite.

In the Aug 21-27th copy of Long Island Business News(LIBN) they interviewed the CEO of Winters Bros, Joe Winters. In the article he mentions, We'll have a rail site within 12 months." Meaning somewhere on Long Island. The article didn't allude to where though.

The most recent Google satellite imagery shows that a large, 4-track yard (0.6 miles between switches) has been built behind Winters Bros and Gershow. I don't see any press coverage about it. It looks like they incorporated the never-used Suburban Propane switch, so there are actually 3 switches off the mainline.
