LVRR: The posted photo is at the CSS&SB section of Randolph Street Station in Downtown Chicago.
The tracks going downgrade lead to the Illinois Central Electric station platforms under the Prudential
Building - a portion of which is visible in the upper left of the picture. This photo is from adjacent Grant
Park and is in a northeast direction.

Today all of the CSS&SB terminal tracks and station are underground under Millennium Park.
Randolph Street Station was re-named Millennium Station - the terminal of what is now Metra Electric.
This area has changed considerably since the 1970s...MACTRAXX
