What is it like working as an MBTA Motorperson on the rapid transit lines (Red, Blue, Orange)?

I'm from NYC and I'm considering MBTA as an option for becoming a train operator, but I would like some insight on how the work environment is, how pay and benefits are, and just some general information that would be helpful in deciding which company I should be going for. Thanks in advance!
