Hello all,
Long time no see! I come bearing gifts: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmXmwfyTAII . That's a stretch of track just east of Kyoto, specifically Otsu to Kusatsu on JR West Japan's Biwako Line (aka Tokaido Main Line) in Shiga prefecture.
If you check that contributor's other videos, you can see quite a bit of scenery in the greater Kansai area. He has vids of JR West Japan, Keihan, Hanshin, Hankyu, Nankai, and a few other railways. I spent 4 years in the general area, and many days off were spent riding those lines. Just thought I'd share some nostaligia with you!
If you have any questions about that vid or others, post here and I'll see what I can do about explaining/translating. Komachi lived in Japan too, let's exercise his language skills!
