Today I noted new signage along the BNSF Chicago Sub ("The Racetrack" in fanese). At MP 18.10 WB there is a new sign denoting W-QZ. I presume this means "Whistle - Quiet Zone'. At MP 18.32 is the only X-ing in Clarendon Hills (Prospect Street) and the Village has a "no blow' ordinance.

The sign has never been there in the past. Is this 'busy bureaucrats" at work?
