Hello to all the PA railfans,

We have headed down to this area several times and I have noticed that there is a railroad bridge at the north end of Mt Holly Springs. I have seen rail traffic crossing it and would like to get some pics/video this time.

Does anyone know what rail line this is, who runs on it and any approximate times that trains may pass through Mt Holly Springs?

Thanks in advance

This is the NS Lurgan Branch. It runs 83 miles from Harrisburg to Hagerstown, MD. Typically 15 to 20 trains a day operate over this line. Generally westbound traffic dominates the morning to early afternoon time period. Freights 11R, 37Q, piggybacks 211, 228, and 203 can be seen between 7am and 1pm or so. Eastbound intermodals 204,202, and 212 generally run thru this area late at night.
