What is the new station at Rt. 61 going to be like? Will it have a station building and a platform by the tracks? Also, will 2102 run this year or not until next year? Why is 225 the 4-6-0 parked at the new station site? Don't they have any interest in running it? So it will just be a static display at the station complex?

Is it a year away from completion? 2 years away?
I've heard that 2100 could be finishing up as early as this year. At this rate RBMN might want to ask their team for help when they're done!

I remember, riding the train out from Reading Terminal in Philadelphia, that Reading had two passenger depots. Whatever happened to them?

The two stations in Reading were Franklin Street, located at 7th and Frankiln Streets, and Outer Station which was inside of the wye at 6th and Buttonwood Streets. Franklin Street still stands and has been restored and houses a brew pub. Outer Station burned, I believe in 1968, and is long gone.

One of the R&N groups on facebook has been showing some status updates. They were installing new rivets in the firebox a few weeks ago. I saw a video yesterday which showed shiny new staybolt caps installed all over the outside too. It looks like they are making pretty good progress and it is a thorough overhaul!

When was this? AFAIK, the last time live steam operated in Philly city limits was the Chessie Special in ‘79...
That images shows as being from railpictures.net so I searched there and found this from 1988:

Looks like RBM&N did some specials to Philly in 1986:
