Hello,

The Connecticut Eastern Railroad Museum recently acquired a late 60s / early 70s Dodge 900 crane truck, which we were told was originally a PC truck.

Does anyone have any photos of these trucks? Unfortunately support vehicles were low on the list of things to be photographed by railfans, unless they happened to be in a picture of the yard or a wreck.

She has a standard cab, storage box (originally) just behind the cab, with a flatbed back to the 14' rear mounted hydraulic boom.

From what I have heard, we are the 4th owner: PC, unknown, a Waterbury monument company and then us. This acquisition was thanks to one of our members, who is a great scrounge hound.

Apparently the second owner was the one that removed the tool box to extend the bed up to the cab. Since she is former railroad, might as well repaint her back to PC.

Thanks,

Rich C.
