Whatever happened to the ALCO RS-32s the Penn Central had? Do
any of them still exist? They were used extensively up here on the
Montreal Secondary - out of Massena, Ogdensburg, Gouverneur and
Watertown - on locals and yard service. Always a favorite among
the crews.

Two NYC/PC RS32's survive:

NYC 8031 - Alco RS32 - Arkansas & Missouri 30
NYC 8035 - Alco RS32 - Delaware Lackawanna RR 212, currently operating with the Falls Road (GVT) in Lockport, NY.

Only 35 total RS32's were ever built.. of those, 25 were originally owned by NYC (to PC and Conrail)
and the other 10 belonged to SP.

Thanks! The 8031 was PC 2031 and was based out of Massena. Would
see it often in yard service and on the local to Canton or the local to
Rooseveltown. 8035, PC 2035, was the unit based in Gouverneur, if
I recall correctly.
