I see some every now and then on the IC in Sullivan IL. They come threw and the current owners paint has faided off and sure enough good old PC colors and emblem still show!

H54 #6013 Wyoming Siding, Dover, DE. You can't make it out in the pic, but the car number stenciled on the end is just 60. The 13 is missing. Its a little clearer in the original

We picked up a coil car Friday 8/10 from a customer. It was made in 1968 in East Rochester, NY at the Despatch shops. Most of the original data lettering was still visible and the car was still in PC green although it had blue CSX covers in it. It did not have its original PC number on it though. The updated data on it said it was rebuilt in 1988. The PC logo was gone but at least it was green.

A few months back we had three green Penn Central coil cars come into Croxton for Harrison, NJ. They looked as if they were right out of a museum. The cars were in full PC green with all the lettering and markings although they were slightly weathered. Even the hoods still had PC logos on them. Seeing one of these is quite a sight, but three in one shot was very odd. I took a few pics of them and I will have to dig them up.
Last night two Penn Central gondolas came in bound for Campbell Hall, NY. They were PC 598542 & 598711.

Had a green PC covered hopper pass us headed westbound in a CSX train in Utica, NY on 9/17/07. Didn't have the train I D or destination. It looked to still be in good shape. The Penn Central lettering on the side was still visible.
