Need your help id'ing the Railroad stenciled on this old wood conductor step.

The Chicago, St. Paul, Minneapolis & Omaha Railway was a separate railroad Company on paper until January 1, 1957 when it was merged into the Chicago & North Western.

The "Omaha Road" was a part of the CNW system, but was in many ways independent. It had it's own HQ in Minneapolis MN (CNW's was in Chicago) and it ran right-handed while the CNW operated left-handed in double track territory. Before the 1957 reorganization CNW steam and diesels were hard to distinguish from Omaha Road engines, the only real difference being the Omaha Road engines having the RR initals on the engine. On steam engines this was under the number on the side of the cab, both CNW and Omaha had the CNW System herald on the tender from about the mid-late thirties on.
