I read a blip on another rr related website that all of the U25B's that MK rebuilt for the Oregon California and Eastern in 76 have been scrapped except one. I cant seem to find anything on them on line thats not over 10 years old. Kind of hard to believe theres no new info on them considering how rare they are (were) and that the 7602 was the first low nose U25B ever built. Does anyone have any more up to date info. All I can find is that they went to Econorail, the 7601 was scrapped in April of 05 and the 7605 went to Union Carbide in Seadrift TX. Again if anyone knows what has happened to them please share thanks.
