Tree & Brush removal on the Port Jefferson Branch

The trees and brush along the right-of-way east and west of Northport station was extensively cut back about a month or so ago. Cut back to the fence line. Can't remember seeing that done out here, and I've lived in the area for 13 years. How much did they do? Did they start out in Port Jefferson and work their way west, or was this project undertaken just in the area of Northport? Thanks.

Tree/Brush removal extend the entire length of the branch.

From what I can see, well-done. They only could've cleared more trees and brush if they'd used Agent Orange. Much longer sight-lines for the engineers, to see hazards and act.
