From what I read, only 24 per cent of all passenger service have activated Positive Train Control. That's unbelievably low, but the cost to implement is very high which was one reason railroads have asked for a time extension.

I'm just wondering if the LIRR is in compliance and we are safe with respect of not having to experience what just transpired in Seattle.
